What is ADAS?
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is designed to avoid collisions and accidents by alerting you of potential problems or avoiding collisions by taking control of your vehicle. Some examples include autonomous emergency braking, cruise control, lane departure and pedestrian and traffic sign recognition.
Safe for the road
We make sure your vehicle’s Assist Systems are working correctly
Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, radar-guided cruise control and lane departure warning are already a common feature of many new vehicle models. By 2022 up to 11 Advanced Driver Assist Systems will be mandatory on all new cars.
According to vehicle manufacturers, if your vehicle is equipped with ADAS, recalibration is necessary if any of the following happen to your vehicle:
- Following a windscreen replacement
- On completion of an accident repair
- Your airbag has been deployed
- After a suspension repair
- Following a front end alignment
- Following a change in tyre specification or ride height
- Replacement of a faulty camera
- Any ADAS dashboard warning lights on or displaying fault codes
- Following the replacement of the vehicle’s ECM (Engine Control Module), PCM (Powertrain Control Module), or ECU (Engine Control Unit)
